Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Cost Schedule Control Analyst or Cost Schedule Control Analyst. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Iuka, Mississippi. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Business Management organization.
Essential Functions:
Prepare month-end reports
Develop and review EACs
Incorporate changes into the EVMS system in order to maintain cost and schedule baselines
Assist CAMs for EVMS activities including: WBS alignment, time phasing of the tasks, developing and documenting earned value methodologies, monthly performance measurement, estimate to complete analysis and updates, and variance analysis research and reporting
Support monthly cost and schedule reviews, identify pressures and opportunities, and develop recovery plans as required
Set up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
Perform analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
Conduct analysis on cost data and sets up meetings with management to review data
Provide support to Integrated Product Teams and Cost Management Managers
Prepare financial inputs to internal reports and presentations
Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management
Maintain and update cost control systems (e.g. Costpoint, SAP and COBRA)
Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Cost Schedule Control Analyst level (1) or a Cost Schedule Control Analyst level (2).
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Cost Schedule Control Analyst:
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Be majoring in or having majored in a Business, Finance, Accounting or related degree
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) and Special Program Access
MS-Office (Advanced Excel Knowledge).
Basic Qualifications for a Cost Schedule Control Analyst:
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution and 1 year of related experience or is completing their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 3 years of related experience
Be majoring in or having majored in a Business, Finance, Accounting or related degree
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) and Special Program Access
Preferred Qualifications:
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7/4.0 or higher
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
Pay Range:
Associate Cost Schedule Control Analyst $47,400 to $71,200
Cost Schedule Control Analyst $57,400 to $86,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
