Job Duties:
Under immediate supervision, performs general ledger accounting work necessary to transform individual transactions into the information required to produce standard accounting cycle reports. Processes and reviews transactions by following company and departmental guidelines to ensure that journal entries meet standards. Assists team members with the production of balance sheets and income statements. Audits and corrects accounts as may be necessary. Uses accounting systems and Excel to extract data, produce reports, and organize financial information. Under direction may provide support to audits, compliance filings, payroll, revenue, costing, budgets, or other accounting activities.
Education:
Associates Degree or Diploma combined with accounting related experience.
Experience:
3+ years of clerical level accounting or bookkeeping experience demonstrating the ability to complete accounting transactions that support closing accounting cycles. Ability to demonstrate use of spreadsheets and accounting related software.
