ElectriCom is seeking an Accounting Manager for our home office in Paoli, IN. We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 5+ years accounting experience. This individual will report directly to the Director of Accounting/Assistant Controller and will oversee the Finance Team. The Accounting Manager must have knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, have experience in an ERP system, be able to multi-task, be self-motivated, meet tight deadlines, have excellent organizational skills, and provide strong leadership.


  • Manage the company’s Balance Sheet accounts and Fixed Assets
  • Work cross – functionally across the General Account Department and broader organization
  • Generate accurate financial statements, in accordance with GAAP and internal policies and procedures
  • Monitor and analyze financial accounting data and assist with financial audits
  • Partner with internal and external parties to ensure compliance with jurisdiction reporting requirements
  • Own Fixed Asset tracking, including Lease reporting
  • Assist with adjusting and closing journal entries
  • Verify reports and reconcile discrepancies
  • Take initiative to create process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Develop a complete understanding of the ERP system
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Perform other duties as requested by Controller
  • Communicate with other team members and departments to streamline processes

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 5+ years of accounting experience required
  • CPA is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in Vista by Viewpoint Construction software, a plus
  • Management experience is required
  • Experience in a construction environment, a plus
  • Ability to provide strong leadership while meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel & PowerBI
