The Appointment Business Center Scheduler for Surgical Specialties [Access Coordinator II] answers telephones and coordinates appointments in a call center environment.

Salary: $15.26 hourly

Responsibilities

  • Schedules, reschedules, coordinates and cancels appointments.
  • Inputs and/or updates accurate patient information.
  • Communicates accurate and complete information.
  • Must maintains strict confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Two (2) years of customer service or healthcare experience
  • Basic proficiency with computers (preferably MS Office)
  • Excellent telephone etiquette skills
  • General knowledge of office machines including printers and scanners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Call center experience
  • Experience in registration, billing or scheduling in a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge in basic medical terminology
