The NE PA Credit Union is recruiting an Assistant VP – Teller Operations.

The Assistant VP – Teller Operations oversees the credit union’s main office teller, lobby, and cash operations. An ideal candidate takes pride in overseeing staff and providing mentoring and leadership that expands the credit union’s reach and ensures customer satisfaction.

The Assistant VP – Teller Operations duties are as follows:

  • Observes and oversees the teller team members’ daily activities.
  • Supervises the cash operations to include the balancing of vault cash, ordering cash, accepting of cash deliveries, balancing and replenishment of Integrated Teller Machines (ITM), and processing Check 21 process through the Federal Reserve Bank.
  • Supervises the greeter function within the credit union’s main office lobby.
  • Supervises the maintenance of the safety deposit box program.
  • Meets weekly with individual staff to review their performance and develop strategies for improvement and growth. Facilitates ongoing training programs for staff to improve overall team performance.

The candidate must have an extensive background with demonstrated leadership and understanding of cash operations.*

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or administration, finance, economics, or accounting is desirable; however, credit union/banking experience and extent of education may be used in lieu of a degree
  • Strong analytical and reasoning ability.
  • Ability to get along well with diverse personalities-tactful-mature-adaptable.
  • Ability to establish credibility, be decisive, and an ability to recognize and support the organization’s preference, policies, priorities and philosophy.
  • Sound administrative skills, well-developed management skills, proven leadership and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
