Four Points Sheraton Spartanburg opening soon! Please join us at the job fair May 17th, 18th, 19th, from 9am-4pm. Hiring all positions.

Job Summary:

Waits on Bar and Hotel guests, obtains drink and/or food order and serves each guest. Prepares cocktails while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to taking and delivering room service orders, cleaning bar and restaurant area and restocking, advising Director of F&B of any needed inventory.


· Act with the highest level of integrity in every decision.

· Certified in Serving Alcohol with Care or other like ABC training certification and has a valid ABC card (and maintains same during employment). Complies with all ABC rules, laws and regulations as well as Server Responsibilities as defined in certified training materials.

· Promptly greet guests at bar and tables, offer food menu, inform them of the drink specials.

· Obtain the order and give to the kitchen for food preparation or mix drink as ordered, deliver order.

· Return to table periodically to make sure all needs are met, offer dessert.

· Verifying customer identification to ensure they meet age requirements for alcohol consumption.

· Present the check. When payment is offered, return change and receipt to guest.

· Remove dirty dishes and linen as needed. Reset tables with clean china, linen, silver, glassware, utensils, condiments, and paper.

· If a cocktail server is present they will attend to tables and bartender will prepare drinks as ordered.

· Basic knowledge of menu prices and composition.

· Requires familiarity of daily specials.

· Monitor snacks at bar and tables.

· Empty, clean and refill items as your side work duties describe.

· Maintain a clean uniform and person.

· Successfully complete training of required OSHA programs.

· Knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures.

· Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employees issues, etc.

· Use pour measuring shot cup to ensure all drinks contain the proper amount of alcohol.

· Immediately inform the Manager on Duty of any guest issues.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and Holidays.

· Never eats, drinks, or smokes in view of a guest.

Physical Requirements:

– Must be able to stand/walk on feet up to eight hours.

– Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.

– Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch.

– Must have clear vision for close cleaning and writing tasks, as well as distance.

– Must be able to handle heat and stress.

– Must be comfortable using a step stool or ladder.

– Must have good finger dexterity for prep work and writing.

– Must be able to use/lift arms for up to 8 hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $3.55 – $8.00 per hour
