This position reports to the Unemployment Insurance Division in the Sumter UI Hub. Incumbent serves as a dedicated customer service representative responsible for handling inbound calls in English and Spanish regarding Unemployment Insurance (UI) inquiries from Claimants, Employers, and other Stakeholders. Responsibilities include providing general information and guidance in line with the operational procedures and guidelines of the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW), to include escalation when appropriate.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A High School Diploma and at least one year of relevant experience in a call center, contact center, or other similar customer service center. A Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted for the required work experience.

Fluent in English and Spanish.

Expected salary: $28215 – 52203 per year
