Business Analyst SUMMARY:

Situated in the IT Department, the Business Analyst will work with all functional disciplines in the organization in order to optimize business processes and provide innovative solutions.


  • Drive positive change in the business by aligning business processes with solutions to maximize value for all stakeholders.
  • Research and gather business requirements and identify pain points to find solutions to business needs.
  • Document business processes for easy comprehension and understanding by stakeholders.
  • Use analytical and critical thinking to analyze problems and provide accurate solutions.
  • Detailed and decisive to ensure that a particular technical design conforms to the discussed business requirements.
  • Possess verbal and written communication skills and personal skills to communicate and work with upper management to hourly associates.
  • Lead projects, document work instructions and train users to improve business efficiency.
  • Oversee and execute on-going maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Brief departments heads and data “owners” on data and system corrections.
  • Coordinate across business departments and system users the creation of new reports, dashboards, analytical tools.
  • Design and manage Change Management requests, approval and tracking process.
  • Advise and implement the optimization of quality control measures.
  • Manage and track the status of all system changes, tests and upgrades tasks.
  • Advise on communications to the organization about system upgrades or functionality.
  • Ensure documentation, such as training guides, procedures, and test scripts, are maintained and regularly updated.
  • Work with vendor support staff to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
  • Research and develop recommendations for application improvements.
  • User Support and Experience: · Organize trainings and promote the use and education of ERP across the organization.

Business Analyst REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree with relatable experience. Knowledge of SQL statements for scripts and queries beneficial · Solid understanding of Relational databases, Oracle Database is preferred · Experience in using one or more software development languages, SQL preferred

  • Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux administration and infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports for reports, forms and labels beneficial.
  • Knowledge of SQL statements for scripts and queries beneficial .
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments and software.
  • Good understanding of remote desktop protocol.
  • EDI, VAN, Trading Partnership knowledge and experience beneficial.
