If you are ready for an administrative promotional opportunity, we have the position for you! The Department of Transportation has a Clerical Assistant 2 opening. In this role, you will be responsible for providing clerical assistance to the Crawford County Maintenance Organization.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will provide exceptional customer service and direct all inquiries to the appropriate staff while maintaining the visitor logs. Work also involves providing permit applications to customers, data entry (to include road closures and lane restrictions into the RCRS reporting system), and processing outgoing and incoming mail.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
Graduation from high school; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
This position is subject to the promotion provisions of a collective bargaining agreement or memorandum of understanding.
