Full Job Description
Avets, a 24-hour veterinary emergency & specialty hospital located in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, is hiring Client Care Coordinators to join our team! You can be an important part of providing compassionate care for pets and the people who love them in our area.

The Client Care Coordinator (CCC) is focused on the pet owner’s experience during their visit. They must demonstrate excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure. Our CCCs show compassion for animals and their owners, as well as understand and work to alleviate the stress that clients endure while their pets are hospitalized.

Job responsibilities include:
Greeting clients Answering phones Differentiating specialty from emergency cases Entering client, patient and financial data into the computer Generating financial paperwork and processing payments Maintain medical records through our practice management software Communicating with referring veterinary offices and obtaining referral information as needed Keeping the waiting area and exam rooms clean and comfortable for our clients and patients

Applicants must be proficient with computer entry and modern office technology.

On a full-time basis, this position is scheduled 4 ten hour shifts per week inclusive of one weekend day. If a candidate has evening and weekend availability, part-time hours may also be considered.

Prior veterinary practice experience is preferred but not required.
