DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will assist the Correctional Employment Vocational Coordinator (CEVC) in the management of employment and skill development experiences and provide employment-related counseling to inmates in the Department of Corrections (DOC) State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Smithfield.

Work Hours and Additional Information:
Full time employment (37.5 hour work week).
Work hours: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm. Monday – Friday with 30 minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
This position is eligible for retirement at age 50/55.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Three years of clerical experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must pass the test to meet the Minimum Experience and Training Requirements.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
