Summary/Objective

This position’s primary responsibility will be to reconcile accounts receivable invoices and disputes. This is done by enforcing terms which requires making daily calls and emails to each of our dealers to collect on past due invoices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine follow up with dealers on payment status. This requires written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to keep organized and detailed notes.
  • Research and solve payment discrepancies.
  • Determine if a dealer should be placed or removed from credit hold.
  • Review open orders on credit hold and determine whether to remove the order from credit hold or to hold the order pending resolution of the dealer’s account.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple task/deadlines.
  • Build relationships with the dealers to be able to negotiate payments while maintaining a good repour that will make them want to be repeat customers.
  • Develop/Maintain relationships with our sales team.
  • Know your accounts as well as payment trends.
  • Provide invoices, backup documentation, proof of delivery as well as detailed statements when requested. These documents would require you to pull files as well as contacting freight carriers.
  • Be able to provide additional support for the Credit Manager as well our Finance Administrator as needed.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This position is in an office setting environment. Our hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 8:00-5:00 and Friday 8:00-2:30 with a 30 minute lunch break daily.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
