The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing customer support through parts sales and parts technical assistance, providing accurate pricing, availability, and estimated delivery information. When standard solutions are not available, selected candidate will seek help and offer alternative solutions. May take and process orders from customers.

Position Responsibilities – Essential

  • Provide Parts technical assistance to support customers in identifying correct parts for their machines.
  • Works with customer on various forms of issue resolution achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively researches alternatives for the customer.
  • Executes and tracks parts order commitments, demonstrating good follow up and accountability in all functions.
  • Conducts business and communicates in a constructive and professional manner, always demonstrates empathy.
  • Requests and maintains item master data as required.
  • Interprets strategy and policy into customer support activities.
  • Interact directly with customers and all internal departments.
  • Communicates effectively at all levels via e-mail and telephone.
  • Uses drawings, schematics, and Parts book information as avenues of research to identify customer requirements.
  • Provides call center coverage as and when required.
  • Assists with creating returns and credits.
  • Demonstrates capacity and strive to develop for themselves and team members.
  • Understand the power of the positive word, putting YES into all aspects of customer communications.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager and/or the Director of Services and Solutions.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • High School diploma
  • Technical or Mechanical Training
  • 3 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Can read and understand technical documentation
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced customer focused environment demonstrating customer excellence
  • Good organizational skills, strong quality orientation, and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work demonstrate flexibility on scheduling.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Mental capacity to make sound decisions and to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
