Job description: An award winning health-system in Mississippi is looking fo a Director of Women’s Services to join their team.
This 350+ bed facility is the leading hospital in the community providing both inpatient and outpatient care. This hospital offers it’s patients a wide range of services including emergency services, women’s services, diagnostics, surgical services, and much more. As a leading facility in Mississippi, this hospital has been awarded as an accredited Chest Pain Center and digital Mammography Center.
This position will have oversight of the Labor and Delivery Unit, Nursery, NICU, and Pediatrics. Between the units, there are 27 beds and 40 FTE’s that this position will oversee. The Nurse Director will provide management and strategic leadership over assigned units. The Nurse Director will be responsible for budgetary duties of the units and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of a School of Nursing (BSN or MSN preferred)
- Ten years of women’s services nursing experience preferred
- Must have Labor and Delivery experience
- Current RN license
- STABLE and CPI preferred
