Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Erie, The Behrend College – School of Engineering is currently seeking Part-Time External Evaluator. The External evaluator will provide essential guidance on the proposed research activities and assessment of the outcomes so that we may also improve the project and its’ long-term impact on future engineers.

Both formative (process) and summative (product) evaluations of the project will be conducted. The f ormative evaluation will focus on examining the project progress towards meeting the objectives. This process will include monitoring the quality of project activities and providing feedback to the project team to strengthen implementation. The summative evaluations gathered during the earlier stages of the project will be used to assess the achievement of project objectives and broader impacts. The evaluation will utilize qualitative methods (e.g., focus group data) and quantitative methods (e.g., descriptive statistical analyses of quantitative achievement, and outcome data including sub-group analyses). Analysis techniques will include paired samples t-test or Wilcoxon signed ranks test of composite scores; and code open-ended responses. The evaluator will also examine whether and how project components work together and contribute to the overall project achievement.
