Job Description

Job Duties:

35% – Serves as the daily contact for accounting services within the engineering and facilities department. Enters monthly journal entries and IIT’s into smart stream system. Services other various accounting and data entry task as requested or needed.

30% – Serves as the daily contact for billing services within the engineering and facilities department. Reviews monthly AiM system queries for closed work orders for completeness and invoices proper university and hospital entities as necessary monthly.

20% – Receives (in the form of IIT, check, or money order), monitors, and records payments for work orders and other services for the university and hospital entities. Keeps monthly aging report for records/proof of payment. Creates IIT’s, requisitions, and travel reimbursements as requested or as necessary. Completes purchase in marketplace as requested or needed. Process refunds for checks and in smart stream for overpayment of work orders or other services.

15% – Monitor queries and shop work orders in aim work order system. Ensures timely closeout for construction and maintenance work orders. Prepares reports and performs other duties as requested by the engineering and facilities business manager.

Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma and three years of experience in entry-level accounting or bookkeeping. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for two years of the required work experience.
