Hardware Engineer


Evaluate automotive circuits and duplicate signals to integrate into an automotive module.

Designing electronic control boards to interface to automotive systems.

Layout printed circuit boards reliably with respect to electromagnetic interference and susceptibility.

Solder prototype control boards using both through-hole and surface mount technology.

Design software for the control board and validate functionality.

Build and design prototype wire harnesses to connect control board to automobile.

Troubleshoot and debug automotive systems while training quality and manufacturing engineers about the product.

Design testers to verify functionality of new and existing control boards to be utilized in the manufacturing process of the circuit boards to ensure product acceptability.

Review designs of peers for good design practices and any anticipated design concerns.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have:

1) Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar is required.

2) 1+ year of PCB/Wire harness design

3) Exposure to CAD (they use inventor)
