The SparkWorks Team is a small, nimble, high energy, results oriented team whose mission is to accelerate strategy execution by reinventing the way people and teams think and work together to achieve exceptional results that stick.

In this role, you will

  • Design and Lead the CAWD including developing the strategy for scaling, hiring & developing talent, and engaging with the sr. business leaders to co-own the shared outcomes and priorities
  • Establish the infrastructure, standards and approaches to transform ways of workings across Janssen R&D embedding both practices and technology that creates a frictionless and holistic work experience
  • Design the business and technical roadmap, in collaboration with SparkWorks and IT, that reflects the emerging needs for new ways of working within the business and with the external healthcare environment
  • Lead the collaboration with internal IT and external tech partners, using the IT product model, to rapidly design, test, and scale integrations and automations, directly with cross-functional teams in the business
  • Leverage and produce assets that tell stories of transformation and new ways of working both qualitatively and quantitatively
  • Capture qualitative and quantitative business outcomes that impacts organizational effectiveness and productivity
  • Serve as an internal consultant, changemaker, organizational systems agitator, and advocate for new and transformative ways of working.
  • Design, facilitate, and coach others to facilitate working sessions to address various moments and challenges:
  • New innovation and new modalities work design
  • Complex cross-functional workflow design
  • Adaptive collaboration design
  • Collaborate seamlessly with IT to rapidly design, test and scale automations
  • Continually improve Sparkworks’ methods and content through iteration and experimentation, drawing on internal and external concepts, frameworks, and ideas.
  • Form and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders throughout the ecosystem.
  • Practice a principle-based (not formulaic) approach to new ways of working and transformation
  • Model the SparkWorks team core values of curiosity, optimism, rigor, trust, openness, co-ownership and fun
  • Support team members and maintain healthy dynamics among the SparkWorks team

  • Fluency with traditional (MS Office) and newer (Slack, Asana) technology.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor degree is required.
  • A minimum of 12 years’ experience in strategy development, business innovation, organizational design and improvement required.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Experience leading global projects that increase business value by improving the way individuals and teams work and collaborate and/or changing the way the business is organized is required. * Up to 20% travel
