Full Job Description

We are looking for a Help Desk Support Analyst. Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. Also responsible for advising clients on how to use various information technology processes, systems and techniques to solve business problems or meet company objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues
  • Walk customers through problem solving process
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
  • Support computers, laptops, tablets, smart phones and applications
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations
  • Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure using company ticketing system
  • Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services
  • Track user account creation, changes and deletions
  • Provide after-hours support based on a rotated schedule
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills – friendly, polite, professional communication style
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Working understanding of basic networking fundamentals
  • Experience with correcting hardware and software problems on laptops and desktops
  • Proven experience supporting various levels of Windows OS
  • Experience supporting a range of Microsoft Office Suites and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Help Desk tracking systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal day to day instructions
  • Experience with Mac computers desirable
  • Language and Verbal Skills: Individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to skillfully communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Technical Support: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Drivers License (Required)
