Job description: Operates standard dump truck hauling materials as necessary in maintenance activities. Operates small equipment such as steel wheel roller, tractor/room, forklift, truck with snow plow or brine applicator, etc. Performs labor related duties in a variety of maintenance activities such as pothole patching, installation and repairs to drainage structures, clearing roadway etc. Flag traffic as necessary in controlling the flow of traffic to protect traveling, public workers and equipment. Assists with operating heavy duty equipment such as backhoe, motor grader and tandem dump truck.There are no minimum training or experience requirements for this classification. Necessary Special Requirement: A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required upon entry to the position. Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within six (6) months of placement in the position.A resume may be included but NOT substituted for completing the education, work experience, or any other sections of the application. Expected salary: $41600 – 58240 per year
