Summary/Objective
The lead shipper/packer position coordinates activities of workers responsible for sorting and packing product and preparing it for same day shipping.

- Assist managers by identifying work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions.

This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management of the employees within that department.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and can be loud.
