Aiken Physicians Alliance is affiliated with Aiken Regional Medical Centers, a 273-bed acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of specialties and services. Aiken Regional Medical Center has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia and has been recognized as an “A” rated facility by the Leapfrog Group.
Position Summary Internal Medicine Physician (Multiple Openings)
- Examine all adult patients regardless of sex to ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery; request necessary tests and follow-up visits; prescribe and administer medication; perform routine vaccinations; provide advice regarding personal health and hygiene; and refer patients to specialists, as necessary.
Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia. Our leadership team, practitioners, and teams of healthcare professionals are collectively dedicated to improving the health and wellness of people in the communities we serve.

Requirements:
- Must have M.D. or D.O. or foreign degree equivalent with ECFMG certification, have
- Completed 3 years of Internal Medicine Residency training, and
- Have a valid South Carolina medical license.
Salary: $217,818-245,000 per year

Work Hours: 8 am to 5 pm: Monday through Thursday and
8 am to 2 pm: Friday
