IT Support

The IT support role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the computer hardware, network hardware, maintaining and configuring RF devices, configuring phones, as well as all printers. This person will be required to work closely with the WMS team and vendor for any WCS/WM issues.

Job Functions

Provide daily first level end-user support / incident management for hardware, software, and warehouse applications and ensure swift problem resolution

Acquire and maintain knowledge of all business functions in a dynamically changing environment

Ensure that issues are communicated to and addressed by the appropriate Global IT Resources. Follow-up to ensure that the user issues are resolved

Preform detailed system maintenance, data integrity tasks and report system deficiencies

Manage installations, repairs, and continued support for all categories of hardware including desktops, laptops, thin clients, wireless devices, phones, printers, cubiscan scales, conveyors & sorters, servers, and switches

Manager user accounts in all warehouse system environments in compliance with company policy

Ability to understand retail and ecommerce business processes

Solid knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems

Ability to communicate effectively with business partners

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to multi-task

Strong interpersonal and communication skills shown by the ability to work with project team members on a global basis with diverse backgrounds

Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines

Ability to work directly with key business users and to communicate issues

Pro-active and customer-oriented mindset.

Interacts with other internal departments within the fulfillment center

Education / Experience Requirements:

High School and/or equivalent years of experience

1 or more years of applicable experience

Relevant education may be substituted for direct experience

Industry experience:
Manufacturing, Warehouse, Logistics, Parcel/Shipping, Retail

Industry experience:
Retail Distribution, Ecommerce Fulfillment

Knowledge & Skills

Effective time management in order to meet dynamic goals and deadlines

Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Ability to read and understand policies/procedures and communicate them to employees

Ability to run network drops.

Operate standard business equipment, including PC, phone, calculator, etc.

Configure handheld scanner and operate associated equipment

Operate specialized computer hardware and software including (but not limited to) Warehouse Management System, Item Database, Yard Management System, etc.

Experience with Microsoft Office software suite
