- Experience in Biology or related subject desired, Computer skills (Word and Excel), Critical thinking skills, Organization skills, Understanding of Food Safety Program and Quality Assurance preferred, Customer oriented.
- Analyze physical parameters of raw and unfinished product and determine rejection or acceptance.
- Test solid level of liquid egg products to maintain appropriate level.
- Monitor performance of sanitation through inspections of equipment and microbiological results of environmental swabs.
- Maintain laboratory certification by providing laboratory quality assurance program support.
- Weekly hand grade of contract producer egg quality
- Shell egg break out for Salmonella testing
- Act as a liaison between facility and customer regarding issues of quality
- Assist in daily procedures which include making media, cleaning, washing dishes, etc.
- Assist in laboratory audit preparation
- Insure compliance with label claims through sampling.
- Insure compliance with governmental regulations.
- Assist with any duties as needed.

Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
