Job title: Machine Operator Assistant

Job description: Aerotek is currently hiring 2nd shift machine operator assistants for a steel processing facility in Butler, Indiana. The position entails machine operators taking coils of flat steel and cutting it down into smaller coils based on customer needs. Most of the steel predominantly supports the garage door industry. This job will entail being able to where many hats throughout the facility. Assistants will work with the operators to to move coils around the facility and into the machines. Final products will be staged to be shipped out, tagging coils, doing inventory and other duties assigned.
Must Haves:
-Ability to show up to work everyday
-Good work ethic
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Would be Nice:
-manufacturing experience
-slitter experience
-Experience working in steel industry
Shift:
2pm-10pm
Pay:
$17 hourly
