Job description: With our Agency’s mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.

This position is located at 2100 Charlie Hall Boulevard, Charleston, SC 29414.

Under limited supervision, will provide mental health counseling and case management services to adults, children, and families open to the Charleston Dorchester Mental Health Center. Services will include forensic assessment and treatment to patients and families of the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center.

Expectation of meeting patients where they are (physically; at home, or in the community) to include safety in the field training.

STATE: A Master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.

INT: A Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited program, university, or college in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling or other behavioral discipline deemed equivalent by SCDMH and two (2) years of post-graduate experience in a clinical counseling program.

Expected salary: $43182 – 65429 per year
