Dirt Cheap Distribution Center is currently hiring FULL-TIME WAREOUSE TRAINER for its 2nd Shift in Blue Mountain, Mississippi.

The job of a warehouse trainer is to be a mentor to all new employees, work with the Operations team to provide on- the- job training and identifying the training needs of each warehouse associate that they are assigned and ensure that appropriate programs and training methods are created and implemented to meet these needs.


2nd Shift: 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm


  • Provides training for individual or group settings
  • Hold each new hire accountable to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP.)
  • Exhibit and practice positive communications and team building skills with trainees to ensure a consistently professional environment
  • Work with the Training Manager to improve training techniques, position requirements and equipment knowledge
  • Evaluate employee performance/techniques with cutting tools; train hourly employees on how to properly stack off finished goods.
  • Correct and retrain employees exhibiting behavior that is contrary to training, while communicating needs to area Supervisor.
  • Determine those trainees are aware of order accuracy procedures and conformity at each stage of the training.
  • Complete progress reports on employees until they qualify for the assigned position. Review progress reports with immediate Supervisor on a weekly basis.
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. And Train and assist in maintaining an effective safety awareness procedure
  • Observe employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.
  • Conducts skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations and changes in training policies and procedures.

  • Routinely work near moving mechanical parts such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar mechanical devices
  • Working in moderate to loud noise levels
  • Conveyor belt and rollers


  • One or more years’ experience in warehousing or distribution is preferred.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Must be able to recognize malfunctions in equipment and notify supervisors
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain tasks to others.
  • Plan own work activities and plan and direct work activities of new hires.
  • Work with minimal supervision; under pressure and on several tasks at the same time.
