Job description: With our Agency’s mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.

This position is located at the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Berkeley Community Mental Health Center, 403 Stoney Landing Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.

Provides advanced level outpatient psychiatric health care to patients of Berkeley Community Mental Health Center.

Within scope of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, provides psychiatric medical assessments to patients of Berkeley Community Mental Health Center (BCMHC). You will practice under the direction of BCMHC Chief Medical Director and under general supervision of Executive Director. Responsibilities also include providing supervision and operational oversight of Nursing Staff within Nursing Division.

State Minimum Requirements:

Positions in this classification require licensure as a Registered Nurse and certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the South Carolina Board of Nursing. Some positions require a valid driver’s license.

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with clinical experience.

Agency (Facility) Minimum Requirements: Agency Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
