Position Overview:

EnerDel designs builds, and manufactures lithium-ion energy storage solutions and battery systems with a focus on heavy-duty transportation, on- and off-grid electrical, mass transit, and task-oriented applications.

The Order Management Specialist will oversee all activities from initial customer contact to order fulfillment to ensure orders are completed on time and within budget to assure customer satisfaction and future sales. You are responsible for standard product orders, service orders, and warranty orders. In addition, this role is responsible for interacting directly with the customer to determine their needs, providing quotes, and entering purchase orders into an ERP system.

Essential Job Functions

Monitors numerous EnerDel customer service mailboxes and distributes to proper disciplines within the organization.

Manages Mutual Confidentiality Agreements

Creates proposals and contracts that accurately reflect the services requested. This includes word processing, creative writing, costing, and research.

Enters purchase orders into ERP (Netsuite)

All other duties as necessary and assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Engineering, or related area·
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with the: Internet, data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Experience:

  • order management system: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Quality audits: 1 year (Preferred)
