Part-Time Legal Assistant

Law Firm in Ocean Springs, MS is currently seeking a part-time Legal Assistant in the area of Workers’ Compensation. Word and Word Perfect experience is necessary.

Duties include the following (Please note that this list is not all inclusive):

e-filing

preparation of legal documents, affidavits, subpoenas

schedule depositions, hearings, doctor appointments

billable time entries

maintenance of attorney calendars

staying aware of deadlines

additional duties as assigned

scanning

opening of files

check requests

file management
