Full Job Description
At Courier Newsroom, we empower individuals and communities through local reporting that helps people understand and affect the issues impacting their lives. We believe that by intentionally reaching the millions of Americans who are currently under-reached by good, factual information and local reporting where they spend their time – on social media and in their email and messaging app inboxes – we can slow the spread of disinformation and increase informed civic participation in key geographies. This is how we build a healthier democracy from the ground up. Through original reporting and human-focused storytelling, our newsrooms highlight the issues and provide humanizing context to the cultural and political forces that shape our lives while calling attention to the impacts of policy-making and political action at the local and community level.
