Personnel Administrator

Summary/Objective

The Personnel Administrator is responsible for processing payroll timely/accurately for Mach 3 and PFC.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Process hourly/salary new hires
  • Research any payroll issues that may arise.
  • Distribute all reports that are associated with payroll-ADP.
  • Process worker’s comp. claims/complete OSHA log.
  • Administer worker’s comp claims, work with insurance company, supervisors and employees.
  • Process unemployment claims.
  • Prepare and participate for unemployment hearings as necessary.
  • Work with supervisors/management on employee issues: hiring, terminations, employee disciplinary actions and counseling.
  • Monthly random drug testing.
  • Administer 401K: Enrollment, hardship withdrawal, and submit contributions.
  • Administer short and long term disability and FMLA
  • Administer medical and dental information.
  • Maintain all employee files and confidential files.
  • Work with uniform company regarding employee uniforms, mats, towels, etc.
  • Verify billing for insurance, drug screening, and uniforms.
  • Process any employee change such as salary increases/decreases, W-4, deductions, garnishments/liens, direct deposit, change of address, etc.
  • Maintain and update attendance records.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to three years’ previous experience.
