The P&O BP will have a critical role to play in driving the transformation for the GRV site in partnership with the Site Director, the GRV Site Leadership Team, MyPO and P&O CoEs. The primary goal of the P&O BP is the successful delivery of Mars signature processes and site-specific initiatives that drive overall unit effectiveness as well as delivery of the operational site agenda in line with the Five Principles.

The incumbent will partner with MyPO and CoEs (Associate Relations, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Mars University, etc) to bring people practices and processes to high levels of excellence. They will also drive ownership with the Site Leadership Team to ensure a robust pipeline of people programs that promote site productivity, sufficient talent pipeline and enhance the Associate Experience in GRV.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, Management or related field.

5+ years of progressive P&O experience in a Manufacturing environment

Solid knowledge of labor regulations

Excellent presentation and written communication skills

Effective in building relationship at all levels

Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, using a comprehensive approach with strong attention to detail

Good business acumen / business experience

Strong consulting skills and ability to influence decisions to a positive business outcome

Ability to effectively manage and work within ambiguity and prioritize on business needs and resources

What will be your key responsibilities?

Proactive Partner & Coach: Proactively partners and credibly coaches, provokes and challenges the site leadership team and stakeholders to optimize performance, drive operational effectiveness and deliver greater value through people.

Talent: partners with Talent Acquisition, MyPO, global Supply leaders, and site leadership to anticipate future needs and to plan, source, attract, recruit, retain and move high caliber Associates to achieve organizational goals. Drives the site MDR and talent reviews to ensure a healthy pipeline of talent considering inclusion and diversity goals.

Change Mobilization: Co-owns with site leadership and key stakeholders, the change initiatives for GRV applying the basic concepts and tools of change management and demonstrating an awareness of the conditions for successful change. Applies a structured methodology to develop a change strategy and change management plans to manage the effective implementation of change.

Organizational Development: Aligns the human side of the organization with site strategy and evolve our culture. Uses root-cause diagnostics to proactively identify opportunities to improve organizational health and co-create fit-for-purpose solutions alongside site leadership and the respective P&O specialists.

Capability and Performance: Proactively engages and supports Line Managers and Associates using data, methods, tools and programs to increase site performance and motivate our Associates to learn, grow and perform to fulfill site goals.

People, Policies and Practices (PPP) compliance: Partners with Associate Relations to ensure compliance of appropriate legislations, PPPs and Mars, inc. protocols, to reflect our culture and bring our associate concept to life. Participates and prepares requirements in people related audits.

Associate Experience: Implements programs aligned with site leadership, to continuously improve Associate Experience considering processes, policies and initiatives to ensure better business performance through the highest levels of associate engagement, energy, empowerment and inclusion.

Learning & Development: Partners with global supply, Mars University and other external vendors, if necessary, to ensure Associates participate in appropriate onboarding, skills and leadership learning and development, to continuously build the capability of our associates and deliver organizational needs.

Performance Management: Leveraging MyPO communications coaches LMs and site leadership on the continuous improvement in the application of processes, tools and systems used to evaluate and develop associate performance and development in line with the site future business objectives.
