We are looking to fill a Full Time Project Coordinator position in Morgan County (Mooresville, Mooresville, Eminence, and Monrovia). Candidates will be required to a hybrid schedule, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, some weekends maybe required due to events. This position will not start until June 1st, 2023.
This role will be responsible for working in the community with local schools. The goal for this role is to create healthier environments for all students and staff by providing support through sustainable improvements to policy, programming, professional development, funding, and everyday procedures and practices.
Project Coordinators provide project management support to leaders and team members. They assist with and supports team planning, execution, monitoring progress, and delivering end results. They will collaborate across teams to ensure alignment. Project Coordinators assess situations, gather appropriate information, and input, and make recommendations to leaders. They ensure quality customer service and professional representation of the team and the department.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate programs related to the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) for area school system
- Ensure and support compliance with local, state, and federal standards and guidelines, scope of services and all other requirements of WSCC
- Use appropriate data and resources from schools and community, and other evidence-based sources (e.g., CDC) to determine school health priorities
- Collaborate with all school staff for the promotion and support of student and staff health, towards improved and sustained academic outcomes
- Assist schools in the development, expansion, and sustainment of health-related initiatives
- Establish and coordinate on-going efforts among community partners and organizations for the delivery of WSCC programs
- Seek additional funding and in-kind support for WSCC efforts with direction from key stakeholders, including school and community partners
- Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate WSCC related professional development opportunities for employees
- Research and evaluate new instructional materials and monitor implementation
- Maintain budget for cost center
- Attend all department, school, and community required meetings
- Develop and submit all required reports as required by due dates
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary by coordinating partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience required.
- Clinical license and/or other certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- 0-3 years of experience is required.
- Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment a plus.
- Experience exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and frequent interruptions is required.
- Requires basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
