Job Description

Project Management responsibility and support to Planning Yard program control of quality, cost and schedule requirements.

Support the development and distribution of Program level and financial metrics, reports and data, including analysis and correction of data anomalies.

Support the development of the yearly Obligation Plan and monthly Execution Plan contract deliverables including both internal and customer-driven plan changes. Interface with PY customers, as required, concerning scope changes, schedule adjustments, available funding, etc.

Support senior management and customer information requests with timely, high quality products.

Conduct routine status reviews with functional support organizations to identify Program issues and corrective action plan development.

In addition, supports Planning Yard Director and Management in program execution of quality, cost and schedule requirements.

Basic Qualifications

6 Years with Bachelor’s Degree in related field; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

A combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.

Project Mangement experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Word) with detailed working knowledge of Excel and Access. Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan and effectively manage work. Understanding and/or exposure to post-delivery processes, SCM/Material management, or Change Management. Ability to logically express ideas in oral and written formats. Able to work within team environment as well as independently and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
