Your responsibilities in this role:
– Begins and works on work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, issue management and risk mitigation
– Oversee project sponsor expectations and business drivers, as well as requests changes, when necessary, to project scope, timing, or resources to ensure strategic solutions are delivered
– Interact with business users to outline business requirements
– Interact with the development team to analyze business requirements as well as business process design
– Organize priorities of concurrent project and support assignments and meet stakeholder expectations
– Come up with appropriate governance approaches for the projects to result in consistent communication as well as issue resolution
Requirements
– Strong project planning and management tasks, business systems support functions and project costing techniques
– Ability to exercise independent judgement and act on it
– Candidates with previous experience working with or in an accounting function with a key role in system projects may be best suited for this role
– Comfortable working in a variety of project management software like Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or other similar applications
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and Project Management Certification
– Complete tasks in areas such as business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, modeling and testing methodologies and development
– Ability to navigate basic office equipment and protocols experience
– Communicate with executive management, team members, business and technology professionals via both written and oral methods
– Proficient in analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction
