Qualifications:
About you-

  • Initiate Consumer disputes
  • Conduct a thorough reinvestigation
  • Effectively communicate with applicants, clients, courts and other available resources throughout the course of the reinvestigation
  • Acquire and maintain a complete understanding of all reinvestigations policies and procedures (including FCRA)
  • Complete detailed documentation throughout the reinvestigations process to include the physical file, electronic system, and notification letters to applicants and clients as required by law
  • Provide appropriate notices to the furnisher, applicant and previous employer as appropriate
  • Compose response letters
  • Adhere to FCRA policy and internal TAT and quality SLA guidelines
  • Obtain information for completing a detailed reinvestigation through the proficient use of the Internet, email, fax, hone and our own proprietary systems
  • Act as a SME on two or more products and consumer dispute processes
  • Tasked with supporting the escalations inbox
  • Correspond with source related to the reinvestigation
  • Compose response letters
  • Adhere to FCRA policy and internal SLA guidelines

What you will do.

  • Consumer Reinvestigations Specialist has responsibility for processing reinvestigations pertaining to consume disputes while remaining in compliance with FCRA and internal SLA’s.
  • The person will work more in depth and become a SME for tow or more products such as
  • Employment History file and criminal records
  • The CRS2 may be required to serve as an escalations contact person
