Position Summary

Research Associate position at IU Bloomington Biology Department.

Position Summary: Seeking a motivated Research Associate to perform grant-related neuroscience research and routine lab maintenance work in the Hurley lab. Research in the Hurley lab focuses on the influence of context on vocal communication in mice (see http://sites.bio.indiana.edu/~hurleylab/). The successful applicant will spend most of their time working in the lab, with duties including routine maintenance as well as conducting experiments, including fluorescence imaging and analysis. Overall, the successful applicant must be well organized, detail-oriented, possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision as part of a research team. However, training specific to work in the lab will be provided.

BA or BS in biology or neuroscience required, previous lab experience strongly preferred.
