Job description:

  • The RN Director of Med/Surg/Ortho/Peds is accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care of the Medical Unit and Surgical Unit.
  • The RN Director is responsible for the overall direction of clinical, human resources, and financial management.
  • Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • ADN required
  • BSN in related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years acute care experience required with critical care preferred
  • Two (2) years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must have a current RN license to practice professional nursing in the state of Mississippi
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS upon hire.

INDMS

Experience Required

  • 3 year(s): Acute Care with supervisory or management experience preferreed.

Education Required

  • Associates or better in Nursing

Licenses & Certifications Required

  • C-AHA PALS
  • C-AHA ACLS
  • C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac
  • L-MS-RN License
