The Sr Warehouse Operator’s primary duty is to maintain the SISPQ (Safety, Identity, Strength, Purity, and Quality) of all GMP raw materials and process consumables upon receipt and while in storage, while operating under tight safety and quality procedures to ensure the SISPQ of raw material and finished product.

This is a full time position. It is hourly. The shift is Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm

The Role:

  • Work in partnership with area quality, operations, and purchasing support to resolve quality and supply chain issues associated with Receiving/Material Handling/Shipping –GMP raw materials and finished products;
  • Work with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure proper customs clearance, and assist when necessary with incoming materials with customs issues;
  • Maintain SISPQ of all GMP raw material and finished product;
  • Maintain all required training certification to ensure performance is in compliance with approved cGMP procedures;
  • Act as the initial point of contact for client receipts and shipping request;
  • Provide packaging and shipping advice when required for high-value, temperature controlled, raw material and finished product;
  • Interface with integrated material management system (JD Edwards) to track material availability and scheduling dates of requested material;
  • Act as the facilitator to obtain authorization to ship quarantine material;
  • Hazardous material IATA trained;
  • Works independently on a broad range of difficult problems;
  • Suggests new, innovative solutions to problems;
  • Competent at risk mitigation for function

The Candidate:

  • High School diploma/GED- required
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience
  • 2 years of cGMP experience
  • Position requires a high attention to detail
  • Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements.
