with Monday – Friday 8am-5pm hours. May avg 30-40 hours per week. Potential to move to Regular Full time role in the future.

The Human Resource Coordinator performs Human Resource functions supporting the total employment process. The Human Resource Coordinator provides assistance to all staff, company-wide, to ensure all employment related processes and requests are overseen.
  • Compiles, maintains and audits employment processes and records to assure compliance with company policy and regulatory standards on anon-going manner.
  • Establishes and maintains an effective and efficient system of new hire enrollment and the establishment and maintenance of the employment record.
  • Coordinates and performs the onboarding for new employees ensuring completion o f required education and supporting documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintains computer entry of employee data from enrollment, status changes, and information changes in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Administers employee benefit program: new hire enrollment, status changes, open enrollment coordination and other benefit functions as required.
  • Performs tracking of employee demographics to ensure compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements. Identifies any tracking issues and reports them to the Department Director.
  • Maintain logs for tracking Human Resource functions for the purpose of follow-up and maintenance of company and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains organized, effective and efficient systems and communication to ensure the continuity of quality patient care delivered.
  • Assists in evaluating agency operations and systems and identifies ways to enhance workflow and productivity.
  • Notifies supervisor of any problems requiring administrative attention and intervention.
  • Promotes compliance with all State, Federal and Regulatory Agencies.
  • Maintains current knowledge of company regulations, and promotes compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
  • Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency.
  • Attends assigned inservice programs.
  • Attends training, education, seminars, or other means of learning as permitted by supervisor.
  • Written and verbal communication is expressed clearly and in a cooperative manner.
  • Participates on committees and task forces as requested.
  • Promotes the Agency philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
  • Maintains patient & staff privacy and confidentiality at all times pursuant to the HIPAA Privacy Final Rule.
  • Provides positive, supportive communication to physicians, patients, families, visitors, and other agency personnel.
  • Promotes Agency image by adhering to the dress code.
  • Reports to work as scheduled.
  • Meets minimum productivity requirements based on agency standard.
  • Abides by company policy and procedures as outlined by company policy manual.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

EDUCATION
: Associate Degree preferred.

LICENSURE
: Not Applicable

EXPERIENCE
: 1-year experience in Human Resources. Health Care experience preferred

SKILLS
: Requires interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff. Working knowledge of Human Resource functions. Able to demonstrate problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer literate, with experience in the operation of office equipment.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

8.This position rarely to never has patient contact and does not require hands-on patient care; thus, the risk of contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials is minimal (Category III).
